Biography

Dana is an integral part of our relationship-building commitment to our clients. She brings considerable event planning experience to help us craft fun and valuable activities for our clients. In addition to her event planning role, Dana helps our clients feel connected to their Advising Team by inviting them in for regular reviews and face-to-face appointments.

Her planning does not end at Falstad & Associates. Aside from her duties at our office, Dana plans incredible vacations as a Travel Advisor at Lay Travel Group - Dream Vacations. She is passionate about seeing the world and experiencing other cultures to expand one's view of the world and make lasting memories with the people you love.

As a Bloomington-Normal native, Dana is a recognizable face in the community. She graduated from University High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. After some time away from Central Illinois, she and her husband, Sven, returned to the community to raise their family here. Dana is thankful to cheer on her kids Niklas, Noah, and Annika as they succeed in their college and young professional careers.

A former athlete, Dana loves to compete whether it is on the tennis court, a game of euchre, or most anything else. Besides exploring the world, she also enjoys cooking new dishes, birding, and relaxing in nature. Dana is also an active member of Rotary International.
