Situational Awareness Training

Self‑defense begins with being aware of your surroundings. Retired law enforcement officers Tony Norman and Deb Mansell will lead an engaging situational awareness training designed to help you recognize potential risks, understand what to look for in everyday environments, and learn strategies to avoid dangerous situations before they occur. The session will also cover recommended actions - and common mistakes to avoid - in active shooter scenarios.

Before that, he worked as a portfolio manager at American Trust and Savings Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation. Phil is based in Bloomington, Illinois.
